About

HappLab (Happiness Laboratory) is a personal lab of Prof VK Shrotryia, Senior Professor at Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.  It is initiated with a broader idea of creating database and literature to help scholars interested in the study of happiness.

HappLab aspires to become one stop platform for all those who are interested in exploring the domain of happiness and human well-being.  The HappLab team strongly believes in the philosophy of vasudhaiv kutumbakam (oneness of the world or the world is one family) hence it aims to engage with volunteers and scholars from all across the world.

Belief

Happlab believes that Employees, Customers, Society and the Management are the four pillars of an organisation and if they are happy, organisations would be happy. Employees should have high engagement and satisfaction level, customers should have the best value for their money and the CSR activities carried out by the organizations should improve well-being of the beneficiaries, and the management or promoters should have appropriate financial returns.
